The equipment catalog is new. There is a Longsword for every metal, and armor sets in Iron, Steel, Silver, Gold, Titanium and Mithril. An item's rank sets its stats, and its metal sets its durability and cost. The shop sells the Leather set and the Copper, Tin and Iron Longswords. Gear from the old catalog has been swapped for its new equivalent, and keeps its durability.
Professions now level from 1 to 100, with the titles Apprentice, Journeyman, Artisan and Master. Each recipe has a level, and its XP preview shows full, half or none. At levels 25, 50 and 75 you pick one specialty for that trade. Picks are permanent, and you lose them if you leave the trade. Some trades stop early for now because their materials are not available yet. The Workshop shows "more to come" there.
You keep your trade, but profession XP starts again from 0.
The pack and storehouse pages have a new list layout, and Equipment has a Storehouses tab. Travel, Scout, distress signals and the world boss use the Night glass look. Help now explains the Workshop and storehouse rules. Background updates no longer hold up your actions.
