Terms of Service

Status: draft · Last reviewed: not yet reviewed

1. Acceptance of Terms

TODO (counsel): Binding acceptance language: by creating an account or accessing the game the player agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. State the operating legal entity, effective date, and how continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

TODO (counsel): Minimum age, one-account-per-person policy, accuracy of registration info, and that identity/authentication is handled by our auth provider (Clerk). Reference the age-rating / minors provisions in the Privacy Policy.

3. Licence to Play

TODO (counsel): Limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the game for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Reserve all rights not expressly granted. Note the game is offered as a service and may change.

4. Acceptable Use & Player Conduct

TODO (counsel): Prohibited conduct: cheating, exploits, automation/botting, account sharing/selling, real-money trading of in-game items, harassment, and reverse engineering. Describe enforcement (warnings, suspensions, termination).

5. Virtual Items & Premium Currency

TODO (counsel): Point to the Virtual Currency Terms for the full policy. Summarize that premium currency and virtual items are licensed, not owned, carry no real-world value, and are non-refundable once consumed except as required by law.

6. Payments & Billing

TODO (counsel): Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record (Xsolla), who is the seller of record for transactions. Taxes, pricing, currency, and payment methods are handled by the MoR. Reference the Refund Policy.

7. Termination & Suspension

TODO (counsel): Grounds and process for suspending or terminating an account, effect on purchased virtual items/currency on termination, and player self-termination (account deletion).

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

TODO (counsel): "As is"/"as available" service disclaimer, no warranty of uninterrupted availability, and liability caps to the extent permitted by applicable law. Jurisdiction-specific carve-outs to be supplied by counsel.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

TODO (counsel): Governing law, venue, and any arbitration / class-action-waiver stance. Must be reconciled with the operating entity's jurisdiction and the MoR's own terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

TODO (counsel): How and when Terms may change, notice period, and how material changes are communicated to players.

11. Contact

TODO (owner): Support/legal contact address for Terms questions. Placeholder until the operating entity's contact details are finalized.
